Plain-language privacy notice
YOUR BATTLE.
YOUR DATA.
8-Bit Death Pit does not require an account and does not include advertising, behavioural analytics, or third-party tracking code. The game runs locally in your browser or app.
Information the game stores
The game saves settings such as audio, accessibility, and graphics preferences in local storage on your device. This information stays on that device unless you clear the browser or app data. No gameplay profile is sent to us.
Information the website receives
The game itself does not transmit personal information. Like most public websites, the hosting provider may process standard request logs such as an IP address, browser type, requested file, and timestamp to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose outages. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider and are not used by the game for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set advertising cookies and do not load third-party analytics, social widgets, or remote fonts. If that changes, this notice and the game’s consent behaviour will be updated before the new collection begins.
Android build
The Android playtest packages the same game locally. It requests network access for the web runtime, but the current game contains no account system, ad SDK, or analytics SDK. Preferences remain on the device.
Security reports
Please report a suspected vulnerability privately through the project’s GitHub security advisory form. Do not include sensitive personal information in a public issue.
